SW1002 Switch Mainframe for High-Capacity Multi-Channel Battery Testing

The SW1002 Switch Mainframe from Hioki is engineered for high-precision, large-scale battery testing, ideal for laboratories, production lines, and quality control facilities. Designed to accommodate up to 12 multiplexer modules (SW9001 or SW9002), the SW1002 supports high-speed, multi-channel measurement of OCV, internal resistance, external potential, and AC impedance on battery cells up to 60 V DC.

This mainframe reduces channel-to-channel interference through circuit-friendly design, cancelling magnetic flux of the AC measurement current and separating the source from sense signals. When paired with compatible battery testers such as the BT4560 series, it ensures high accuracy, with impedance measurement errors as low as 0.01% full scale.

The SW1002 allows connection of two measuring instruments, enabling seamless switching between instrument types for different measurement requirements. Its scan function automates channel selection and synchronizes trigger measurements, making it ideal for high-throughput testing of large battery arrays.

The switch mainframe also reduces PC port requirements by transmitting communication commands from the PC to the measuring instrument, simplifying system integration and reducing cable clutter. With channel switching times as fast as 11 ms and support for both 2-wire and 4-terminal pair configurations, the SW1002 Switch Mainframe delivers efficient, reliable, and precise multi-channel battery evaluation.
