Description
High-Voltage PXIBus Signal Amplification
The Tabor 3222 PXIBus Amplifier is engineered for applications requiring high-voltage signal amplification from DC to over 20 MHz. With an output of up to 40Vp-p into high impedance (20Vp-p into 50Ω), the 3222 overcomes the limitations of standard PXI waveform generators that are often restricted to low output voltages. Its fixed gain of x10 can be customized without sacrificing signal purity, ensuring high-fidelity amplification for demanding applications.
Customizable and Safe Operation
The 3222 provides flexibility with configurable input/output impedance, output polarity, and signal ground options. Its floating capability allows the amplifier to operate isolated from case ground up to 250VDC, critical for applications requiring precise grounding alignment. Additionally, it draws current only from the +5V PXI rail, leaving other rails free to power additional devices safely.
Target Applications
The PXIBus amplifier is perfect for a wide range of applications, including:
- Automotive testing with 12–28V signals
- Aviation and aerospace high-voltage signal routing
- PXI laboratory instrumentation
- General scientific and industrial signal amplification
Cost-Effective, High-Performance Solution
Despite its high-voltage and wideband performance, the 3222 remains a compact and cost-efficient PXI amplifier. Its single-slot design allows easy integration into PXI systems while delivering exceptional amplitude, low distortion, and configurable operational flexibility, making it ideal for engineers and researchers.
