The Hioki AC Flexible Current Sensor CT9667 is engineered for professionals who need reliable measurement of large AC currents without the limitations of rigid clamp sensors. Built on Rogowski coil technology, this flexible sensor easily loops around conductors in tight spaces, making it especially useful in switchboards, distribution panels, and industrial power systems with dense wiring layouts.
High-Current Applications
Designed to support both 500 A and 5000 A AC ranges, the CT9667 series enables accurate monitoring of heavy electrical loads while maintaining excellent frequency characteristics. Its ability to handle continuous input currents up to 10000 A at power frequencies makes it suitable for measuring large motors, transformers, and power distribution lines. Flexible Loop Measurement
The CT9667 series is available in three loop diameters ranging from 100 mm to 254 mm, allowing users to select the ideal size for their specific installation. Models CT9667-01 and CT9667-02 feature extra-thin flexible cables, making them easier to route through complex wiring paths. Instrument Compatibility
With a standard BNC output terminal, the CT9667 connects directly to Hioki power meters, power quality analyzers, and Memory HiCorders equipped with BNC input terminals. The sensor is powered by AA alkaline batteries, an AC adapter, or an external DC power supply, ensuring dependable operation during extended measurement sessions.
