Description

CT-BOX Current Measuring System for Accurate DC and AC Measurements

The CT-BOX Current Measuring System is a powerful digital platform designed to deliver highly accurate measurement and calibration of both DC and AC currents. Developed specifically for use with 0-FLUCS current-output DC current transducers, the system enables precise measurement of currents up to ±1000 A with exceptional stability and reliability.

At the heart of the system is a high performance measurement architecture that integrates a burden resistor, a conditioning network and a temperature stabilized 24-bit analog to digital converter. This design ensures that current signals are converted with high accuracy while maintaining very low temperature dependency. The result is a measurement system capable of achieving full-scale accuracy of 0.01 percent, with optional performance reaching 0.005 percent.

Advanced Sampling and Trigger Modes

The CT-BOX Current Measuring System supports configurable sampling rates up to 100 kHz. This allows the device to capture fast current transients and high frequency components that are often present in modern electrical systems. The flexible triggering architecture allows data acquisition to be performed in several modes depending on the measurement requirements.

Users can trigger acquisitions through an external hardware signal using LVTTL or TTL inputs, initiate measurements through remote digital commands or configure internal timing parameters to automatically collect data at defined intervals. This combination of hard trigger, soft trigger and mixed trigger modes provides a highly adaptable solution for laboratory experiments and automated test environments.

Current Measuring System for Data Logging and System Monitoring

To support long-term measurements and detailed analysis, the CT-BOX Current Measuring System stores time stamped current readings directly to a microSD flash memory. This makes the system suitable for extended monitoring tasks such as energy research, industrial testing and electrical system diagnostics.

The device includes Ethernet, USB and RS-232 communication interfaces that allow data retrieval and system configuration from different environments. In addition, the microSD memory card can be removed and accessed externally for quick data transfer.

A built in display allows users to monitor current readings and system parameters directly on the unit. The system also supports connection of an external temperature probe so that environmental conditions can be logged together with measurement data. For safety and automation, a configurable alarm output can be used to signal external equipment when current thresholds are exceeded.

The CT-BOX Current Measuring System also integrates a low noise dual ±15 V AC/DC power supply. This internal power source directly supplies the connected current transducer with extremely stable power, ensuring reliable measurement accuracy over a wide operating bandwidth.

With its advanced measurement architecture, flexible acquisition features and integrated data analysis capabilities, the CT-BOX Current Measuring System provides a comprehensive solution for precision current measurement in research laboratories, automotive testing and industrial monitoring applications.
