Flexible Display and Output Options
The CT7642 operates in combination with the detachable Display Unit CM7290 or CM7291, allowing users to view real-time measurements directly at the test site or bench. This flexible setup also enables connection to Hioki Memory HiCorders, data loggers, and oscilloscopes for deeper analysis. Four output formats are available through the display unit: raw waveform output, RMS conversion, peak detection, and frequency output. This versatility makes the CT7642 suitable for both transient waveform capture and long-term monitoring.
Stable Performance
With an operating temperature range of -25°C to 65°C, the CT7642 maintains consistent performance in both cold and warm environments. Its design focuses on stability and accuracy during extended recording sessions, making it especially valuable for continuous current monitoring and performance validation. The large 55 mm core diameter allows easy clamping around thick insulated conductors without interrupting circuits.
Wireless Monitoring Capability
When paired with the CM7291 Display Unit, the CT7642 supports Bluetooth wireless communication. Measurement data and waveforms can be transmitted to smartphones or tablets using the GENNECT Cross app, enabling real-time visualization, data review, and efficient reporting.
