Description

Complete AC/DC Test Platform for Aerospace and Automotive Standards

The DSR 400 Series Test System by AE Techron delivers a unified, high-performance power test solution for laboratories focused on DO 160 Section 16, MIL STD 704, and a broad range of automotive EMC standards. This compact, standalone system integrates a waveform generator, arbitrary signal generator, and power supply into one box—streamlining test setup and dramatically reducing complexity.

Advanced 4-Quadrant Performance with Built-In Power Reserve

Unlike conventional systems, every DSR 400 Series model operates in 4-quadrant mode, meaning it can both source and sink current for real-world simulations. With continuous DC output current up to 160A and the ability to deliver up to 5x rated power for 200 ms, the system is capable of simulating in-rush conditions and dropouts required by DO 160. It also supports ground reference and supply offset testing, essential for ISO 16750-2 and related specs.

Extensive Test Library and Rapid Setup

With over 3,400 preloaded standards-based test sequences, engineers can quickly run compliance routines or customize their own using the included software interface. The system can be operated directly with the provided monitor, keyboard, and mouse or be fully integrated via LAN and GPIO to function as a node in a larger test environment.

Designed for Precision, Built for Reliability

From its 30 µs rise time to built-in protections against overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature, the DSR 400 Series is built to handle intensive testing with consistent accuracy. It supports a range of waveforms including sine sweeps, square, ripple, triangle, sawtooth, and DC voltage simulation. Whether you’re running automated routines or manual simulations, it ensures your lab meets the latest industry compliance with confidence.
