The Hioki LR8513 Wireless Clamp Logger is purpose-built for professionals who need a simple, safe, and flexible way to monitor electrical current in real-world environments. The compact, pocket-sized design of the LR8513 Wireless Clamp Logger allows it to fit easily inside switchboards, control panels, and confined electrical enclosures. Optional magnetic mounting accessories provide flexible installation on metal surfaces, eliminating the need for permanent mounting hardware.
Because data is transmitted wirelessly, there is no need to route signal cables through panel openings. This allows panels to remain closed during measurements, supporting safer operation and cleaner installations. The logger is also suitable for difficult-to-wire locations such as elevated equipment, moving machinery, and transportation systems.
Long-Term Load and Leakage Current Logging
Powered by two AA alkaline batteries, the LR8513 can operate for approximately 10 days at a one-second recording interval with Bluetooth enabled. A built-in power-saving function helps extend battery life by activating wireless communication only during scheduled periods. For extended monitoring, the logger can be powered using an AC adapter or an external 5 to 13.5 V power supply.
All measurement data is securely stored in the logger’s internal memory, which can hold up to 500,000 data points per channel, ensuring reliable data retention even when wireless communication is temporarily disabled.
