Description

P1288B RF AWG

The Tabor P1288B RF AWG is engineered to deliver high-speed, precise waveform generation for advanced RF, Electronic Warfare (EW), and quantum experiments. With a 1.25GS/s sampling rate and 16-bit resolution, this 8-channel AWG provides clean, accurate signals for rigorous testing and research. Its 1GS memory accommodates long waveform sequences, with expandability up to 8GS for more complex or longer-duration signals.

Modular PXI Express Design

Built on PXI Express standards, the P1288B combines modularity and compactness. Its high-density layout allows integration into multi-channel systems, supporting phase-coherent, synchronized outputs for EW simulation, large-scale qubit control, and MIMO research. The modularity ensures cost-effective scalability from two channels to hundreds of channels.

Real-Time Feedback for Conditional Waveforms

The FPGA-controlled architecture moves the P1288B from preloaded waveform generation to a responsive paradigm. By processing incoming signals in real time, the device generates adaptive waveforms instantly. This is essential for closed-loop EW systems, radar target simulation, and quantum applications where system responsiveness is critical.

Task-Driven Non-Linear Waveform Sequencing

Unlike traditional AWGs, the P1288B offers a Task Table conditional state machine. This allows the system to switch intelligently between waveform segments based on real-time input, enabling adaptive, low-latency responses. In radar applications, it can generate Doppler-shifted or delayed echoes to simulate moving targets. Programming flexibility includes Python, MATLAB, C, or LabVIEW.
