The Hioki 3153 Automatic Insulation/Withstanding HiTESTER is designed to meet the growing demand for efficient, reliable, and safe electrical testing. Combining both insulation resistance and AC/DC voltage withstand testing in one device, it streamlines the verification of electrical devices and components according to international safety standards.

Programmable Multi-Point Testing

Users can program up to 32 files with 50 test steps per file, covering multiple test points, voltages, and measurement settings. This flexibility ensures that complex testing procedures are automated, reducing human error and increasing production efficiency. The optional high-voltage scanner allows fully automatic multi-point testing, making the 3153 ideal for high-volume manufacturing and laboratory use.

Accurate and Stable Voltage Testing

The Hioki 3153 uses PWM technology to generate precise test voltages independent of fluctuations in the power supply. AC and DC voltage withstand tests can be performed up to 5 kV, with accurate current measurement from 0.01 mA to 100 mA. A ramp timer function allows controlled voltage rise and fall during dielectric strength tests, preventing stress on sensitive components.

The 3153 provides continuous digital monitoring of output voltage, detected current, and measured insulation resistance, with refresh rates of 2 times per second.
