Description

Hioki 3930 Voltage Scanner for Multi-Point High Voltage Testing

The Hioki 3930 High Voltage Scanner is engineered for reliable, efficient, and safe high-voltage testing in industrial and manufacturing environments. It acts as a passive auxiliary device controlled by the Hioki 3153 Automatic Insulation/Withstanding Tester or a sequencer, enabling the automatic scanning of multiple test points without repeated reconnections. This significantly reduces testing time and enhances productivity.

Efficient Multi-Channel AC/DC Testing

Each Hioki 3930 unit provides 8 high-voltage channels that can be expanded up to 32 channels by connecting four units. Users can select single-mode scanning for a common 8-channel test or multi-mode scanning with 4 high-voltage and 4 low-voltage channels. Its isolated high-voltage I/O and control lines ensure operator safety and measurement accuracy even when handling up to 5 kV AC/DC.

Fast, Reliable, and Safe Operation

The Hioki 3930 Voltage Scanner is designed for rapid testing, with operation and recovery times of less than 6 milliseconds. Each contact point supports a maximum voltage of 5 kV and a current capacity of 1 A, with a resistance of less than 500 mΩ at 1 mA AC. The scanner’s isolation between channels and its robust relay system prevent damage to the device under test and provide reproducible measurement results across multiple points.

Flexible Control and Compatibility

Control is straightforward using the 3153 program function or standard sequencers. Visual operation indicators show power status and active channels, allowing for intuitive monitoring of the testing process. The unit comes with high-voltage test leads, grounding cable, and control connector cable, simplifying setup and deployment in industrial test environments.
