LSX2092B Signal Generator

The LSX2092B Signal Generator is a high performance 20 GHz dual channel microwave signal source built for advanced RF and microwave testing. As part of the Lucid-X modular platform, it delivers low phase noise, ultra fast frequency switching, and versatile modulation capabilities in a compact benchtop design. Engineers working in radar development, aerospace systems, electronic warfare, and production test environments rely on this instrument for accurate and repeatable signal generation.

Signal Integrity

Signal integrity is critical in high frequency applications. The LSX2092B Signal Generator offers excellent phase noise performance with -148 dBc/Hz at 100 MHz, -133 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, and -114 dBc/Hz at 10 GHz, measured at 10 kHz offset. Harmonics are maintained at -50 dBc and non harmonics are below -90 dBc. This ensures clean spectral output for local oscillator applications, intermodulation distortion measurements, and high performance DAC and ADC clocking systems. The result is stable and reliable testing across demanding microwave environments.

Fast Frequency Switching

The LSX2092B Signal Generator supports ultra fast switching below 10 µs with coherent phase continuity. Pulse modulation delivers a high 70 dB on off ratio with rise and fall times under 15 ns, making it suitable for radar pulse testing and complex microwave signal simulations.

Control and Integration

The LSX2092B Signal Generator integrates smoothly into automated test systems. It supports industry standard SCPI and VISA architecture and connects via LAN, USB, or SPI interfaces. Programming is supported through Python, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, and LabVIEW environments. The included virtual front panel enables intuitive local or remote control.
