Description

P1284B RF AWG

The Tabor P1284B RF AWG is built to provide highly accurate waveform generation for demanding applications in RF research, Electronic Warfare (EW), and quantum computing. Featuring a 1.25GS/s sampling rate with 16-bit resolution, this 4-channel AWG delivers clean, precise signals for experiments and testing. Its 1GS memory allows for extended waveform sequences, with the option to expand up to 8GS to handle more complex applications.

Modular PXI Express Design

Built on PXI Express standards, the P1284B is modular, compact, and scalable. Its high-density design allows integration with other PXI instruments to build multi-channel systems, supporting phase-coherent and synchronized applications such as large-scale qubit control, massive MIMO research, and EW simulations.

Real-Time Feedback for Conditional Waveforms

The FPGA-controlled architecture of the P1284B moves waveform generation from a preloaded to a responsive paradigm. By processing incoming signals instantly, the AWG generates conditional waveforms in real time. This feature is essential for closed-loop EW systems, radar target simulation, and quantum control where rapid system response is critical.

Task-Driven Non-Linear Waveform Sequencing

Unlike conventional AWGs, the P1284B offers Task Table conditional state machines. This enables intelligent, non-linear waveform sequencing where the device instantly switches between waveform segments based on real-time input. In radar mode, it can simulate moving targets by generating Doppler-shifted or delayed echoes, and it supports programming through Python, MATLAB, C, or LabVIEW.
