Description
CT-600 Current Transducer with 0-FLUCS Technology
The CT-600 Current Transducer is designed to deliver highly accurate measurement of both DC and AC currents in demanding laboratory and industrial environments. Built using the advanced 0-FLUCS current sensing technology, the device uses a closed loop measurement principle that provides exceptional accuracy and stability compared to traditional current measurement methods.
This technology enables the CT-600 Current Transducer to achieve extremely low noise performance, excellent linearity, and negligible temperature drift. These characteristics make it an ideal solution for applications where precision current measurement is critical.
With a full scale measurement capability of ±600 A and a transform ratio of 1:1500, the transducer converts large primary currents into a precise and manageable secondary signal. This allows accurate monitoring and feedback control in modern power systems.
Flexible Output Options
The CT-600 Current Transducer is available in two output configurations to meet different integration requirements. The standard CT-600 version provides a precise secondary current output, while the CT-600V version offers a buffered voltage output.
In the voltage output version, a low temperature coefficient shunt resistor and a low noise amplifier are integrated within the device. This configuration simplifies connection with measurement instruments and data acquisition systems.
Both versions include galvanic isolation between the primary current path and the measurement circuitry. This isolation improves safety and allows current measurements to be performed even when the primary circuit operates at a different electrical potential.
Current Transducer for Advanced Industrial and Research Applications
The CT-600 Current Transducer is widely used in applications that require highly stable and accurate current monitoring. It is particularly well suited for battery testing and characterization in electric vehicle systems, calibration setups, industrial test stands, and precise AC mains monitoring.
The device also plays an important role in precision regulated power supplies and power inverter systems where accurate current feedback is essential for system stability. Compared with Hall effect sensors, the CT-600 provides significantly improved performance in terms of linearity, stability, and measurement noise.
For optimal performance, the CT-600 Current Transducer can be paired with the PS1215 low noise power supply, which provides the required stable ±15 V power. The device can also be integrated into the CT-BOX-600 measurement system to create a complete current monitoring solution for bipolar currents up to 600 A.
Thanks to its advanced sensing technology and flexible integration options, the CT-600 Current Transducer offers a reliable and high performance solution for precise current measurement in research laboratories, power electronics systems, and industrial testing environments.
