The Tabor PM8571A Pulse Generator is designed to exceed the limits of conventional pulse generators. With 50MHz output, 300MS/s arbitrary waveform capability, and 16-bit resolution, the PM8571A allows engineers and researchers to generate precise pulses, sequences, and modulated waveforms. Its capabilities extend beyond standard function generators, making it ideal for laboratories, automated test systems, and high-speed digital applications.

Equipped with 10ps pulse resolution and 4ns transition times, this generator ensures accurate pulse placement and timing. The device also functions as a high-speed function generator for sine, square, triangle, ramp, and custom waveforms up to 100MHz. Sequence Generation and Memory
The PM8571A offers a powerful sequence generator, allowing users to link and loop waveform segments in user-defined patterns. It supports up to 10 sequence tables and up to 4M waveform memory, enabling extended and complex waveform playback. Memory segmentation maximizes flexibility and efficiency for multi-step tests.
User-Friendly Operation and Remote Control
A 3.8” backlit color LCD and intuitive front-panel controls simplify operation. Ethernet, USB, and GPIB interfaces provide fast remote access, making integration into automated test setups seamless. The ArbConnection software allows easy waveform creation, editing, and management, supporting standard, arbitrary, pulse, and modulated signals.
Legacy Compatibility and Flexibility
The PM8571A can emulate older pulse and function generators, allowing easy “drop-in” replacement for Fluke, HP, Tabor, Tektronix, and Wavetek models. Programmable output impedance, wide voltage range, and multi-modulation support make it an adaptable solution for a wide variety of lab and industrial applications.
