CPU Module [EM-CPU] is the heart of the Echelon system and provides module control, power management, SSD storage, WiFi, Digital IO, CAN, IRIG and GPS Channels. The module supports 16 Digital/Frequency inputs and 4 Quadrature Encode inputs for position based measurements. In addition to the dedicated CAN thermocouple port, up to 3 additional, full featured CAN ports are provided on the processor module including support for J1939 protocols. Optional CCP, XCP, FlexRay, and LIN support are also available. |
Internal Battery Module [EP-BAT] provides 80 Wh of power to support hours of running time. The compact battery is also a UPS to ensure worry free operation should power be temporarily unavailable. Battery modules can be recharged externally or in system.

High-Density Input Module [EM-HD] offers 16 channels of 100kS/s, 24-bit bridge, thermocouple, IEPE/ICP, or voltage inputs in a single module. Supports direct connection of 1/4, 1/2, and full bridge devices with auto-balance and a zero-drift amplifier. Independent bipolar excitation per channel at up to 30 mA support all general bridge type sensors with up to 100mA available for high current sensors. Optional rugged breakout cables support ICP/IEPE sensors and voltage inputs up to ±200V. 8-channel input and analog out variants available. |
High-Speed Input Module [EM-HS] offers best in class performance with support for virtually any sensor type at sample rates up to 1 MS/s on each of the 4-channels, with up to 4 modules per Echelon processor. Software selectable channel settings allow for direct interface with Bridge based sensors, Thermocouples, IEPE Type Accelerometers and Flow-Meters, Voltage inputs to ±100V, and Powered Sensors such as MEMS, LVDTs and Current Loops.

Isolated IP-67 Thermocouple Module [HT-TCS-*] provides 16 channels of isolated thermocouple inputs to an Echelon system. Up to 4 Thermocouple Modules can be daisy-chained on a CAN channel. Up to 64 input channels and 64 auxiliary channels can be supported by one Echelon Processor Module. Add more Processor Modules for even higher channel counts. |
Ultra High Density Input Module [EM-UHD] offers 32 channels of 20kS/s, 24-bit capability for DC, diff DC, or bridge measurements. With either 5V or 10V unipolar excitation sources, software selectable in 8-channel groups. Supports connection of 1/4, 1/2, and full bridge devices with auto-balance and a zero-drift amplifier. Supports up to ±5V input range via direct connection.
