Description

9400 Four Channel Amplifier

The 9400 Four Channel Amplifier is a high performance solution from Tabor Electronics, engineered for demanding high voltage and wide bandwidth applications. With four independent channels in a compact enclosure, the 9400 maximizes laboratory efficiency while preserving outstanding signal purity.

Multi Channel Precision

Each of the four channels delivers up to 400Vp-p output with continuous current up to 50mA. The amplifier operates from DC to beyond 500kHz, ensuring accurate reproduction of fast changing signals. With a slew rate of 400V per microsecond, it supports high speed transitions required in advanced research and industrial environments.

The 0.1Ω output source enables stable driving capability and can support capacitive loads up to 1nF with minimal bandwidth reduction. This makes the 9400 Four Channel Amplifier suitable for precision electronics testing and actuator control systems.

Operating Modes

The amplifier offers two operating modes for flexible signal handling. In normal mode, each channel independently amplifies bipolar signals with a fixed gain of x50. This allows simultaneous amplification of four unique signals without altering waveform characteristics.

In unipolar mode, the amplifier converts bipolar signals into controlled dual outputs. This configuration is particularly valuable for MEMS micro engine applications that require accurate up and down or left and right actuator control.

Safety and Integration

Safety is integrated into every aspect of the design. A front panel mechanical switch blocks the high voltage path until activated. A protective safety latch prevents accidental power delivery to the unit under test. A red indicator light clearly signals when high voltage is enabled, providing visual confirmation for operators.

The compact enclosure is designed for stacking with other Tabor instruments or mounting in a standard 19 inch rack. Paired with compatible waveform generators, the 9400 Four Channel Amplifier becomes a complete high voltage amplification solution for research labs, universities, and industrial testing facilities.
