Description

AE Techron 9100 Series: Compact, High-Performance Power Amplifiers

The AE Techron 9100 Series is a versatile family of single-phase power amplifiers engineered for applications requiring high current, rapid response, and exceptional signal fidelity. With a power output of up to 5 kW continuous (4.2 kW for the 9105 model), these amplifiers deliver outstanding performance across a wide operating range.

Designed with a hybrid architecture that blends the efficiency of switch-mode technology with the precision of linear amplification, the 9100 Series maintains low distortion, minimal DC drift, and the ability to drive virtually any load without reducing rated power. This makes it a go-to choice for mission-critical environments where accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable.

Exceptional Speed and Control

With a bandwidth of DC to 250 kHz, a slew rate of up to 150 V/µs, and a rapid 7 µs rise/fall time, the 9100 Series easily meets surge and dropout requirements for demanding standards. Whether powering reactive loads, transformer-coupled circuits, or delicate devices under test (DUTs), the amplifier’s user-selectable current limit and adjustable output impedance (0–1 ohm in voltage mode) give engineers precise control over every test.

Flexible Power Input

The 9100 Series operates from any standard single-phase AC mains voltage between 100 VAC and 250 VAC. From a 120V, 20A source, it can deliver 2,000 watts, while a 230V or 240V source unlocks its full 5 kW potential.

Applications

Ideal for high-current, low-voltage testing scenarios, the 9100 Series excels in EMC conducted immunity testing, MIL-PRF evaluations, and automotive or aviation power disturbance simulations.
