Introducing the AGX Series Regenerative AC & DC Power Source
Programmable AC & DC Power Source in 4 Quadrant Operation
The AGX Series offers high-power AC, DC, and AC+DC sources, ranging from 6kVA/kW to 21kVA/kW in a single 4U chassis, with the ability to parallel units up to 168kVA/kW or dual cabinets up to 252kVA/kW. It supports four-quadrant operation for sourcing and sinking AC or DC power and various output/input configurations. Applications include aerospace and defense testing, EV charging, solar inverters, energy storage systems, smart-grid simulation, and EMC compliance.
Constant Power Voltage Range
The AGX Series provides a single constant power voltage range, allowing higher current at lower voltage and higher voltage at lower currents, eliminating the need to switch between voltage ranges and ensuring continuous power delivery.
Exceptionally High Current
The AGX delivers a broad current range, reducing the risk of over or under-sizing the power source and minimizing additional capital investment. It offers 20% more current from 120V to 200V compared to typical units.
Wide Frequency Range with Extended Option up to 3000Hz
The AGX’s wide frequency range of 15Hz to 1200Hz, with an extended option up to 3000Hz, provides flexibility for avionics and defense applications requiring varied frequency ranges.
Simultaneous AC & DC Operation on Single Phases
The AGX allows simultaneous AC and DC load operation on single phases with automatic output mode switching, offering configurations for single, split, three-phase, and multi-channel options with full galvanic isolation for user safety.
Optional AC/DC Regenerative Load Reduces Capital Costs
The “L” option adds regenerative electronic load capability, simulating linear and non-linear loads and various AC/DC operating modes, reducing the need for separate testing equipment and cutting capital costs.
