Description
CT-2000 Current Transducer with 0-FLUCS Fluxgate Technology
The CT-2000 Current Transducer is engineered to deliver highly accurate monitoring of DC and AC currents in advanced industrial and research environments. The device is built using the proven 0-FLUCS fluxgate technology, which operates with a closed loop sensing principle to provide superior measurement accuracy and stability.
This technology enables the CT-2000 Current Transducer to achieve extremely low noise levels, excellent linearity, and minimal temperature drift. These characteristics make the device highly suitable for applications that require stable and reliable current measurements over long operating periods.
The transducer supports a maximum bipolar primary current of ±2000 A and features a transform ratio of 1:2000. This configuration converts high primary currents into a precise secondary signal that can be easily processed by measurement instruments, monitoring systems, or power supply feedback circuits.
Flexible Output Options
The CT-2000 Current Transducer is available in two output configurations to support different measurement setups. The standard CT-2000 version provides a precise secondary current output for integration into advanced measurement systems. The CT-2000V version provides a buffered voltage output that simplifies signal interfacing with digital acquisition systems and monitoring equipment.
The voltage output version integrates a low temperature coefficient shunt resistor and a low noise amplifier within the device. This design ensures stable signal conversion while reducing the need for additional external conditioning circuits.
Galvanic isolation between the primary current path and the secondary measurement circuitry allows safe and reliable measurements even when the primary circuit operates at different electrical potentials. This isolation also simplifies integration when the device is used as a feedback element in current regulated power supplies.
Current Transducer for Industrial Testing and Power Applications
The CT-2000 Current Transducer is widely used in environments where precise current monitoring is essential. Typical applications include electric vehicle battery testing and characterization, calibration laboratories, industrial test stands, and precise AC mains monitoring systems.
The device is also suitable for extremely stable regulated power supplies and power inverter systems where accurate current feedback is critical for maintaining system performance. Compared with traditional Hall effect current sensors, the CT-2000 provides significantly improved accuracy, lower noise, and better long term stability.
For optimal operation, the CT-2000 Current Transducer can be paired with dedicated PS1124I or PS1124V power supplies, which are designed specifically for the current output and voltage output versions of the device. These power supplies ensure stable operating conditions and help maintain the high precision performance of the transducer.
Thanks to its advanced sensing technology and robust design, the CT-2000 Current Transducer offers a reliable and high performance solution for precise current measurement in research laboratories, automotive testing systems, and industrial power monitoring applications.
