Description

The DAM 6.0-P Dual Antenna Mast is engineered to provide reliable and precise antenna positioning in magnetic absorption chambers and EMC measurement setups. With a height range from 1.0 m to 6.0 m, the mast accommodates large-scale measurements while ensuring safe handling of heavy antennas. The electric stepper motor allows smooth and controlled vertical movement, while pneumatic polarization enables rapid 0° to 90° rotation of antennas in approximately 3 seconds.

Designed with dual-antenna capability, the DAM 6.0-P supports a maximum load of 20 kg when properly balanced. For longer or heavier antennas, a counterweight can be added to maintain stability. Antenna bars rotate around their axis during polarization to eliminate elevation errors, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurements.

Constructed mainly from plastic and reinforced fiberglass, the mast minimizes metallic interference, while metal components are limited to the base and drive unit. The stable base measures 0.95 m x 0.73 m, providing solid support for testing even in dynamic laboratory conditions. The mast’s remote control features, via LAN (TCP/IP), allow seamless integration with FCU3.0 or NCD Controllers, making it ideal for automated EMC testing routines.

The DAM 6.0-P is compatible with adapters for all commercially available antennas, adding flexibility for various test setups. Its position speed is adjustable, with precision up to ±0.5 cm, and it complies with CISPR 22 / EN 55022 and CISPR 32 / EN 55032 standards. Operating within 10°C to 35°C, the mast ensures reliable performance under standard lab conditions.
