DMM Station MR8990 High Precision Measurement System

The DMM Station MR8990 is a high performance DC voltage measurement system designed to work exclusively with the MR8740 and MR8741 Memory HiCorder platforms. When combined, this system provides simultaneous, multi channel voltage measurement that captures extremely small fluctuations often missed by traditional scan type data loggers.

Simultaneous Multi Channel Sampling

Unlike conventional multi channel instruments that scan channels sequentially, the DMM Station MR8990 enables true simultaneous sampling. This capability is critical when analyzing correlated signals such as sensor outputs in automotive systems or voltage variations in battery cells. The system supports installation of multiple DVM units, allowing data capture from up to 32 channels at the same time without timing skew.

Accuracy and Resolution Advantage

At the core of the system is the MR8990 DVM Unit, which provides two channels of DC voltage measurement with exceptional accuracy. With a basic accuracy of ±0.01 percent and a super high resolution of 1.2 million counts, the system reliably captures microvolt level changes. This level of precision makes it ideal for investigating subtle performance shifts in sensors, electronic components, and energy storage devices.

Speed and Isolation Performance

The DMM Station MR8990 supports high speed sampling at up to 500 samples per second, enabling real time monitoring of dynamic voltage changes.
