The Hioki M7103 Module is engineered for high-precision, multi-channel power measurement in compact, scalable systems. Designed for PV inverter production lines, high-voltage battery testing, and energy storage systems, it combines power analyzer-class accuracy with high-speed data acquisition for precise efficiency evaluation across multiple channels.

Compact, High-Accuracy Design

The M7103 supports direct voltage measurement up to 1500 V DC, ensuring safe operation for PV inverters and high-voltage battery packs. Accuracy is guaranteed up to 1500 V DC, enabling reliable measurements without differential probes. Its compact 4U 19-inch rack design accommodates 12 channels per module and can be expanded up to 120 channels using multiple modules, saving space while providing scalability for complex testing environments.

Multi-Channel Efficiency Measurement

For PV inverters and multi-MPPT string systems, stable efficiency measurement is essential. The M7103 uses the Synchronization Source Sharing function with the LR8102 data logger to simultaneously capture power data across up to 120 channels. This capability ensures precise evaluation of multiple MPPT strings, battery cell voltages, and power storage systems in real time, providing actionable insights for production and quality control.

Real-Time High-Speed Data Acquisition

With a 5 ms sampling interval, the M7103 continuously transfers live voltage and current data to HIL systems via UDP communication (using LR8102). This high-speed capability enables real-time simulation, detailed charge/discharge analysis, and monitoring of individual battery cell responsiveness. The module’s high stability and accuracy make it an ideal solution for embedded and laboratory applications alike.

Flexible and Safe Testing

The M7103 can accommodate high-voltage batteries exceeding 800 V and energy storage systems above 1000 V. Safety is assured with 1500 V CAT II insulation and compliance with EN IEC 61010 standards.
