Description
Hioki PQ3198 Analyzer for Power Quality Monitoring
The Hioki PQ3198 Analyzer is a state-of-the-art instrument for measuring, analyzing, and logging power quality in industrial, commercial, and specialized systems. Engineered for precision, it captures electrical anomalies such as voltage dips, swells, interruptions, harmonics, and transient voltages. Its versatile design supports single-phase, three-phase, and 400 Hz lines, making it suitable for factory, EV charging, and aviation applications.
Accurate and Standard-Compliant Measurements
The PQ3198 Analyzer meets IEC 61000-4-30 Edition 3 Class A standards for continuous, gapless recording. It delivers high-accuracy readings: ±0.1% of nominal voltage, ±0.1% current, and ±0.2% power. For harmonic analysis, the analyzer can measure supraharmonics up to 80 kHz and complies with IEEE 519 standards for power quality reporting. Transient voltage events up to 6000 V lasting as little as 0.5 μs can be reliably captured.
Dual-Circuit and Inverter Efficiency Analysis
Its isolated fourth voltage channel enables two-system power and efficiency measurements simultaneously. The PQ3198 can evaluate DC-to-3-phase inverters, EV rapid chargers, and multi-circuit setups, providing precise efficiency calculations alongside power quality metrics.
Simplified Setup and Software Integration
The analyzer offers automatic wiring checks, preset configurations, and automatic sensor detection, ensuring accurate setup and reducing human error. With PQ ONE software, users can analyze trends, generate EN50160, IEEE 519, and TDD reports, and visualize statistics such as voltage, current, and harmonic content. Remote monitoring and cloud-based services like GENNECT One allow real-time access to measurement data from any location.
Flexible Current Measurement
Hioki offers a wide range of compatible current sensors up to 6000 A, including flexible and AC/DC auto-zero types. Sensors are powered by the instrument, eliminating external power supplies and minimizing drift over time.
The PQ3198 Analyzer is ideal for engineers, facility managers, and researchers seeking precise, reliable, and actionable insights into power quality and system performance.
