The Hioki IM3523A LCR Meter is engineered to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable measurements for electronic components on production lines and in R&D laboratories. With a wide frequency range from 40 Hz to 200 kHz and test signals from 5 mV to 5 V or 10 μA to 50 mA, the IM3523A accommodates diverse components with high precision.
High-Speed, Accurate Measurements
Thanks to a rapid 2 millisecond measurement time and ±0.05% basic accuracy, this LCR meter enables efficient testing without compromising quality. The device supports continuous testing across mixed measurement conditions, such as capacitance-dissipation (C-D) at 120 Hz and equivalent series resistance (ESR) at 100 kHz, at speeds ten times faster than previous models.
Reliability and Ease of Use
The contact check function ensures accurate measurements by detecting poor probe connections. Built-in comparator and BIN functions allow automatic classification and pass/fail evaluation, ideal for high-volume production environments. Monochrome LCD display provides clear, real-time readings of all measurement parameters, including impedance (Z), admittance (Y), phase angle (θ), DC resistance, ESR, inductance, capacitance, quality factor (Q), and tan delta (D).
Connectivity and Flexibility
The IM3523A features EXT I/O for automated handlers, USB communication, and LAN connectivity, making it easy to integrate into production lines or automated testing setups. Its compact design (260 × 88 × 203 mm, 2.1 kg) allows for installation in space-constrained workspaces.
