L2001 Pincher Probe for Accurate Chip Component Testing

The L2001 Pincher Probe is designed to simplify impedance and component measurements while maintaining high accuracy and repeatability. It connects directly to the measurement terminals of compatible Hioki LCR meters, impedance analyzers, and Capacitance HiTesters, making it a practical solution for both laboratory and production environments.

Each arm of the L2001 Pincher Probe features a two-terminal electrode structure. When paired with the measurement instrument, this configuration forms a four-terminal pair design that helps reduce measurement errors caused by lead resistance and contact instability. This ensures consistent results, even when testing small chip components.

The probe is optimized for measuring surface mount components starting from 0603 inch size when using the included IM9901 contact tips. For applications requiring measurement of smaller components, optional IM9902 contact tips can be used to extend compatibility down to 0201 inch sizes. This flexibility makes the L2001 suitable for a wide range of component evaluation tasks, from standard discrete components to compact designs used in modern electronics.
