Signal Integrity

Engineered for maximum spectral purity, the LSX4091X delivers exceptional phase noise performance: -133 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz (10 kHz offset), harmonics at -50 dBc, and non-harmonics at -90 dBc. Its coherent single-channel operation ensures precise phase alignment, supporting high-performance DAC/ADC clocking and critical measurement systems.

Fast Frequency Switching

With <10 µs frequency switching, the LSX4091X minimizes dead time in automated testing, boosting throughput and lowering operational costs. Its fast switching is also vital for simulating real-world environments such as frequency-hopping radar, electronic warfare signals, and secure communication protocols requiring pulse-to-pulse frequency changes.

Modulation Capabilities

The LSX4091X features built-in AM, FM, PM, Sweep, and Pulse modulation, enabling versatile signal simulation for analog and RF communications. Frequency Modulation (FM) supports deviations up to 10 MHz at rates up to 1 MHz. Amplitude Modulation (AM) achieves linear depths up to 90% at rates up to 100 kHz, while Phase Modulation (PM) reaches peak deviations of 360°. Pulse modulation delivers fast rise/fall times (<15 ns) and a high on/off ratio (~70 dB). Optional features expand power ranges, modulation, and remote control flexibility.

Control and Programming

Designed for seamless integration, the LSX4091X supports SCPI and VISA commands over LAN, USB, or SPI. Compatibility with Python, MATLAB, C#/C++, and LabVIEW allows easy programming and automation. A virtual front panel provides an intuitive local or networked control interface.
