Description
MOHR CT100 Time Domain Reflectometer Overview
The MOHR CT100 Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) Cable Tester redefines precision in portable cable testing. Designed for coaxial, twisted-pair, and multi-conductor cables, it combines laboratory-grade resolution with rugged portability, making it ideal for use in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and industrial applications. Recognized as the U.S. Navy’s replacement for the Tektronix® 1502 series, the CT100 delivers unmatched fault detection and measurement accuracy in any environment.
High-Resolution Testing and Accuracy
Unlike conventional TDRs, the CT100 can resolve connector detail to less than 1 cm, enabling engineers to catch subtle defects before they escalate into system failures. It offers industry-leading impedance measurements using a 16-bit ADC, with cursor resolution down to 25 µm (0.76 ps) for cable length. Its speed and sensitivity surpass even Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), without calibration drift or tradeoffs between resolution and range.
Advanced Fault Detection and Analysis
The CT100 provides the fastest intermittent fault detection in the industry, capturing up to 250,000 samples per second and supporting continuous full waveform monitoring at 500 Hz. Engineers can analyze opens, shorts, kinks, thermal damage, water ingress, or connector issues with confidence. Applications extend beyond cable testing, including PCB impedance analysis, soil moisture sensing, and geophysics.
Software and Remote Capabilities
With CT Viewer™ 2 software, users can save, compare, and analyze thousands of TDR traces, apply FFT math packages for frequency-specific data, and leverage advanced calibration. Built-in LAN/WAN/Internet streaming allows remote diagnostics from anywhere, making the CT100 a versatile tool for collaborative engineering.
Rugged, Portable, and User-Friendly
The CT100’s lightweight 5.1 lb design and bright 4.3-inch TFT-LCD ensure usability in field or lab conditions. It complies with strict MIL-STD and CE standards, operates from 0°C to +50°C, and includes a rugged carrying case, calibration kit, and connectivity accessories. Optional adapter kits extend compatibility to aerospace-grade cabling, making it a long-term, flexible investment.
