Description

P2584B RF AWG

The Tabor P2584B RF AWG is engineered for researchers and engineers who require high-speed, precise waveform generation in demanding RF, Electronic Warfare, and quantum computing environments. Offering a 2.5GS/s sampling rate and 16-bit resolution, this 4-channel arbitrary waveform generator ensures high-fidelity signals for complex experiments, simulation scenarios, and wireless system testing. Its 2GS standard memory, expandable up to 8GS, allows for long waveform sequences and extensive data manipulation.

Modular PXI Express Architecture

The P2584B employs a PXI Express modular design, enabling easy scalability to multi-channel systems while maintaining a compact footprint. Its high-density layout allows four generator outputs and two digitizer inputs to be housed in just three PXI slots, optimizing space and cost efficiency. This makes it ideal for synchronized, phase-coherent applications like large-scale qubit control, massive MIMO research, and sophisticated EW simulations.

Real-Time Feedback and Adaptive Waveform Control

Equipped with integrated FPGA-controlled DAC and ADC units, the P2584B shifts waveform generation from preloaded sequences to a responsive, adaptive paradigm. By minimizing latency, the system can instantly adjust output signals based on incoming data. This capability is crucial for closed-loop EW systems, radar target generation, and qubit reset/control in quantum research.

Task-Driven Waveform Sequencing

Unlike traditional AWGs, the P2584B features a Task Table conditional state machine, enabling non-linear waveform sequencing. Incoming data can trigger instantaneous jumps between waveform segments for intelligent, low-latency responses. In radar applications, the system can simulate Doppler-shifted or delayed echoes for realistic moving target scenarios. Programming is fully supported via Python, MATLAB, C, or LabVIEW for smooth integration into research and production workflows.
