Description

P2588D AWG Transceiver

The P2588D AWG Transceiver is a high channel density, performance driven waveform generation system built on the advanced Proteus SDR architecture. Designed for engineers working on complex RF environments, it delivers 2.5 GS/s sampling with 16-bit resolution and supports 8 fully synchronized channels. This combination makes it one of the most capable platforms for large scale signal simulation, electronic warfare modeling, and advanced communication research.

Unlike conventional AWGs that simply replay stored signals, the P2588D is designed to respond dynamically to changing signal conditions. Its FPGA based real time processing engine allows it to analyze incoming data and adapt waveform output instantly, making it suitable for next generation adaptive RF systems.

Key Capabilities

The P2588D AWG Transceiver capabilities are centered around scalability, precision, and intelligent waveform control. With 8 synchronized output channels, it enables highly complex test environments such as phased array radar systems, multi target simulations, and large scale MIMO research setups.

Its 2 GS waveform memory ensures uninterrupted execution of long and data heavy signal sequences. Combined with 16 precision markers, the system offers extremely accurate timing alignment across multiple channels and external devices.

The PCIe based high speed data transfer system eliminates traditional bottlenecks and enables continuous streaming of large datasets. This allows engineers to run long duration simulations without interruption or performance degradation.

Another defining feature is its task driven waveform engine. Instead of linear playback, it operates as a conditional state machine capable of switching waveform behavior based on real time input signals. This enables advanced applications such as DRFM style radar simulation, adaptive electronic warfare scenarios, and closed loop RF experimentation.

Applications

The P2588D AWG Transceiver applications include:

  • Electronic warfare and adaptive threat simulation environments
  • Advanced radar target generation and phased array testing
  • Quantum computing and qubit control systems
  • Wireless communication system development and validation
  • RF signal intelligence and complex waveform analysis

Its PXI Express modular architecture ensures that it can scale from laboratory configurations to large multi channel test systems, making it a future ready solution for evolving RF and signal processing demands.
