The two independent output channels allow synchronized signal testing across multiple paths, ensuring coherent multi-channel waveform delivery.

Modular Design and Scalability

Built on the PXI Express platform, the P9082D RF AWG is modular and scalable. It can integrate with additional modules to expand from a single unit to hundreds of synchronized channels. Its compact form factor saves lab space while supporting phase-coherent applications including MIMO research, qubit control, and phased-array radar simulations.

Real-Time Feedback and Conditional Waveforms

A key differentiator of the P9082D is its FPGA-based real-time feedback system, which reduces latency by integrating the AWG (DAC) and optional digitizer (ADC) into a single unit. This allows the waveform output to adapt instantly to incoming signals, enabling conditional responses critical in closed-loop EW systems and radar target simulation. The system’s Task Table sequencing allows intelligent jumps between waveform segments for responsive signal generation, programmable via Python, MATLAB, C, or LabVIEW.
