Featuring a 9GS/s sampling rate and 8-bit resolution, this AWG accurately reproduces complex signals for Electronic Warfare, radar simulations, and high-speed wireless communications testing. Its four independent channels allow phase-coherent multi-path signal generation, critical for multi-channel experiments and MIMO systems.
Modular Design and Scalability
Built on the PXI Express architecture, the P9084D RF AWG is modular and scalable. It can be integrated with additional modules to expand from a single unit to hundreds of synchronized channels. Its compact, high-density design reduces footprint while supporting advanced phase-coherent applications, including qubit control, phased-array radar, and large-scale RF simulations.
Real-Time Feedback and Adaptive Waveforms
A standout feature of the P9084D is its FPGA-based real-time feedback system. By integrating the AWG and optional ADC, the instrument eliminates round-trip latency to a PC, enabling conditional waveform generation. This allows instant adaptation of outputs based on incoming signals, essential for closed-loop Electronic Warfare systems, responsive Radar Target Simulation, and quantum research. Its Task Table sequencing capability ensures intelligent jumps between waveform segments, programmable through Python, MATLAB, C, or LabVIEW.
High-Speed Data Transfer and Streaming
The P9084D supports PCIe-based high-speed memory transfer, continuous streaming, and optional memory expansion up to 16GS. This ensures uninterrupted playback of long, complex waveforms for realistic scenario testing in communications, radar, and physics research.
