SB3G Shielded Box – EMI & RF Protection is a high-performance shielded enclosure developed by Montena Technology and distributed by Absolute EMC. Designed for laboratories, military, aerospace, and power generation industries, this shielded box ensures reliable protection of oscilloscopes, RF instruments, and sensitive electronics from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency (RF) disturbances.
With its wideband shielding effectiveness—60 dB up to 100 MHz, 30 dB up to 1 GHz, and 20 dB up to 3 GHz—the SB3G provides outstanding suppression of unwanted noise. It includes a built-in power filtering system supporting 120/230V AC with a protective fuse, ensuring safe and clean energy supply to your equipment.
Engineered for flexibility, the SB3G is equipped with multiple I/O ports, including 4 Type-N RF connectors, 2 fiber optic openings, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and a USB-A interface. This makes it an ideal choice for diverse testing setups where secure connectivity and interference-free operation are critical.
For long-duration testing, the unit integrates a thermostat-controlled cooling fan to prevent overheating while maintaining shielding integrity. A front shielded window allows operators to visually monitor instruments without compromising protection.
Its painted aluminum construction combines durability with portability, weighing just 19 kg, making it suitable for laboratory or field use.
