The SME-8311 Flat Sample Electrode is a precision measurement accessory developed for evaluating the insulation resistance of flat material samples. When paired with Hioki Super Megohmmeters from the SM7000 series, it provides stable, repeatable, and reliable measurement results for materials with high insulating properties.

Flat Material Evaluation

This electrode is engineered to accommodate flat samples ranging from 40 mm to 100 mm square with a maximum thickness of 8 mm. The carefully designed electrode structure ensures uniform contact with the sample surface, helping reduce measurement variability and improving overall accuracy. Its main electrode diameter of 19.6 mm, combined with inner and outer ring electrode diameters of 24.1 mm and 28.8 mm, allows precise control of the electric field during testing.
