Description

Hioki CT7736 Current Sensor for Accurate AC/DC Monitoring

The Hioki CT7736 AC/DC Auto-Zero Current Sensor is a high-performance device designed for precise monitoring of currents up to 600 A. Its auto-zero function minimizes zero-point drift, even during extended measurements and wide temperature variations, ensuring reliable and repeatable results in industrial, laboratory, and field applications.

Detachable Display Unit for Field Convenience

Paired with the CM7290 or CM7291 detachable Display Unit, the CT7736 provides flexible, real-time monitoring without the need for stationary equipment. Users can output data in multiple formats, including waveform (WAVE), RMS, peak (PEAK), and frequency (FREQ), allowing easy integration with Memory HiCorders, data loggers, or oscilloscopes. Bluetooth-enabled connectivity with the CM7291 allows wireless transfer of data to smartphones or tablets via the GENNECT Cross app, providing instant analysis and review.

Extended Temperature Range and Auto-Zero Technology

The CT7736 operates from -25°C to 65°C (-13°F to 149°F), making it suitable for extreme environments. Unlike conventional DC sensors, which require frequent zero-adjustments due to temperature-induced shifts, the CT7736 uses a switching-based offset cancellation circuit to maintain stable zero-point readings over long-term measurements. This ensures accurate current monitoring without the need for constant recalibration.

Applications

The CT7736 is ideal for monitoring industrial AC/DC currents, site inspections, laboratory testing, and integration with memory recorders or loggers. Its combination of auto-zero stability, wide temperature tolerance, and flexible output options makes it a reliable choice for professionals who require precise current measurements under varied conditions.
