Description
CT-1000 Current Transducer with Advanced 0-FLUCS Technology
The CT-1000 Current Transducer is engineered to provide highly accurate measurement of both DC and AC currents in demanding technical environments. Using the advanced 0-FLUCS current sensing technology, the device operates with a closed loop measurement principle that ensures exceptional precision and long term stability.
This design allows the CT-1000 Current Transducer to deliver extremely low noise levels, excellent linearity, and minimal temperature drift during operation. These characteristics make the device ideal for applications where measurement accuracy is critical and where stable long term performance is required.
With a maximum bipolar primary current capability of ±1000 A, the transducer is able to handle high current levels while maintaining precise measurement output. The device uses a transform ratio of 1:2000, which converts the primary current into a highly accurate secondary signal that can be used for monitoring or feedback control.
Flexible Output Configurations
The CT-1000 Current Transducer is available in two different output configurations to meet a wide range of integration requirements. The standard CT-1000 model provides a precise secondary current output for advanced measurement systems. The CT-1000V version provides a buffered voltage output that simplifies connection with measurement instruments and data acquisition systems.
The voltage output configuration integrates a low temperature coefficient shunt resistor and a low noise amplifier directly inside the device. This design ensures stable voltage signals and reduces the need for additional external conditioning components.
Galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits allows the transducer to safely measure currents even when the primary circuit operates at a different electrical potential. This isolation also simplifies system integration when the device is used as a feedback element in regulated power supplies.
Current Transducer for Industrial Testing and Power Electronics
The CT-1000 Current Transducer is widely used in applications where precise and reliable current monitoring is required. It is commonly used for battery testing and characterization in electric vehicle development, calibration laboratories, industrial test stands, and precision AC mains monitoring systems.
The device is also highly suitable for extremely stable regulated power supplies and power inverter systems where accurate current feedback is essential for system stability. Compared with conventional Hall effect sensors, the CT-1000 provides significantly improved performance in terms of measurement accuracy, linearity, and noise reduction.
For optimal performance, the CT-1000 Current Transducer can be powered by the PS1215 low noise power supply. The device can also be integrated into the CT-BOX-1000 measurement system, which provides a complete monitoring solution for bipolar current measurements up to 1000 A.
Thanks to its advanced sensing technology and robust design, the CT-1000 Current Transducer offers a dependable and high performance solution for precise current measurement in research laboratories, industrial power systems, and advanced testing environments.
