Description

CT-100 Current Transducer with 0-FLUCS Technology

The CT-100 Current Transducer provides highly accurate monitoring of both DC and AC currents in demanding electrical and industrial environments. Based on the advanced 0-FLUCS closed loop fluxgate technology, this device offers excellent measurement stability and outstanding precision across a wide range of applications.

The closed loop architecture enables the CT-100 Current Transducer to achieve extremely low noise performance and superior linearity. These characteristics ensure reliable and repeatable measurements even in systems where signal stability and measurement accuracy are critical.

The CT-100 Current Transducer supports a maximum bipolar primary current of ±100 A with a transformation ratio of 1:1000. This ratio converts the high primary current into a precise secondary signal that can be easily processed by measurement equipment, control systems, and monitoring instruments.

Galvanic isolation between the primary current path and the secondary measurement circuit ensures safe operation when monitoring currents at different electrical potentials. This isolation also simplifies system integration when the transducer is used as a feedback element in regulated power supply systems.

Flexible Output and Connection Options

The CT-100 Current Transducer is available in both current output and voltage output configurations to meet different system integration requirements. The current output version provides a precise secondary current signal that can be used in advanced measurement instruments and current control circuits.

The voltage output versions include an integrated low temperature coefficient shunt resistor and a low noise amplifier. This configuration converts the current measurement into a stable voltage signal that can be easily connected to data acquisition systems and monitoring devices.

The CT-100 Current Transducer also provides flexible connection options. The C version uses a DB-9 connector that simplifies external wiring and installation in laboratory or industrial equipment. The P version provides a 7 pin through hole interface designed for direct PCB mounting in embedded electronic systems.

All versions include an LED indicator that confirms proper device operation, allowing users to quickly verify that the sensor is functioning correctly during system operation.

Current Transducer for Testing, Power Electronics, and Industrial Applications

The CT-100 Current Transducer is widely used in applications where precise current measurement is essential. Typical use cases include electric vehicle battery testing and characterization, calibration laboratories, industrial test stands, and accurate AC mains monitoring systems.

The device is also suitable for extremely stable regulated power supplies and power inverter systems where accurate current feedback is required for system stability and efficiency. Compared with traditional Hall effect sensors, the CT-100 Current Transducer delivers improved measurement accuracy, lower noise levels, and better long term performance.

For optimal operation, the CT-100 Current Transducer can be combined with the PS1215 low noise AC DC power supply. This dedicated power supply ensures stable operating conditions and helps maintain the high precision performance of the device.

The CT-100 Current Transducer can also be integrated into the CT-BOX-100 system, which provides a complete solution for monitoring bipolar currents up to 100 A. With its reliable performance and flexible configuration options, the CT-100 Current Transducer is an excellent choice for engineers working in power electronics, industrial testing, and high precision measurement environments.
