Description
Engineered for the Future of EV Testing
The HVR 1200RG Ripple Generator is purpose-built to meet the growing demands of high-voltage electric vehicle testing. Developed by AE Techron, this high-current ripple generator system is optimized for challenging environments including traction inverters, power-HIL setups, and other EV high-voltage subsystems. As vehicle technologies evolve, so do the requirements—and the HVR 1200RG is ready to evolve with them.
High Power, Wide Range, Precise Control
This system supports ripple current outputs from 100 A to 600 A peak, and ripple voltage up to 150 Vp (300 Vp-p). Whether you’re dealing with demanding loads or high-noise environments, the frequency flexibility from 150 Hz to 300 kHz ensures precise, repeatable results every time. It is compatible with DC supplies ranging from 0 to 1200 V, or 2000 V when using a bridged configuration.
Built for Real-World Testing Conditions
The HVR 1200RG is designed to handle the unexpected. Short circuits under full load? No problem. Loud and unpredictable DUT noise? The system’s noise-rejecting monitoring circuits ensure accurate performance, even when interference exceeds the ripple test signals themselves. Unlike traditional systems, there’s no reliance on secondary protection add-ons, meaning fewer interruptions and faster test cycles.
Modular Design for Evolving Standards
As EV testing protocols continue to advance, the modular and field-configurable nature of the HVR 1200RG makes it a smart, long-term investment. It’s suitable for testing against current standards—and ready for new ones as they emerge, making it ideal for labs serving major automotive OEMs.
