LSX1491B Signal Generator

The LSX1491B Signal Generator is a high performance 14 GHz single channel microwave signal source built for advanced RF and microwave environments. As part of the Lucid X platform, it combines ultra low phase noise, coherent frequency switching and rapid settling time in a compact modular design. Engineers working in radar development, electronic warfare simulation, quantum research and automated production testing benefit from its stability and speed.

Signal Integrity and Spectral Purity

Signal purity directly impacts measurement accuracy. The LSX1491B Signal Generator sets a high benchmark for spectral performance with phase noise of -148 dBc/Hz at 100 MHz, -133 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz and -114 dBc/Hz at 10 GHz at a 10 kHz offset. Harmonics are specified at -50 dBc and non harmonics at -90 dBc. This clean microwave output supports Local Oscillator applications, intermodulation distortion measurements and high performance DAC and ADC clocking.
