The LSX2091D 20GHz Single Channel Microwave Signal Generator Module delivers high-precision RF and microwave signals for laboratory, production, and field testing environments. Part of the Lucid-X series from Tabor Electronics, this signal generator combines speed, accuracy, and modular flexibility, providing engineers with a compact yet powerful tool for demanding applications.

Signal Integrity and Purity

The LSX2091D sets new standards for spectral purity with ultra-low phase noise: -133 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz (10 kHz offset), -148 dBc/Hz at 100 MHz, and -114 dBc/Hz at 10 GHz. With harmonics at -50 dBc and spurious signals at -90 dBc, this generator ensures clean, stable signals critical for high-performance Local Oscillators, DAC/ADC clocking, and intermodulation distortion measurements.

Analog and Pulse Modulation

Equipped with advanced modulation capabilities, the LSX2091D supports AM, FM, PM, Sweep, and Pulse modulation. Frequency modulation provides deviations up to 10 MHz at rates up to 1 MHz, while amplitude modulation offers up to 90% linear depth at rates up to 100 kHz. Phase modulation reaches peak deviations of 360 degrees, and pulse modulation delivers a high on/off ratio (~70 dB) with ultra-fast rise/fall times under 15 ns. This makes it perfect for radar, electronic warfare, secure communications, and analog system testing.

Fast Frequency Switching

With <10 µs switching speed, the LSX2091D reduces dead time in automated testing and accelerates throughput in production or laboratory environments. Fast switching also allows simulation of real-world RF scenarios, including frequency-hopping radars, electronic warfare signals, and secure communication protocols, without sacrificing signal accuracy.
