The Model 3201 RF Amplifier is engineered to meet the demands of modern RF and microwave testing. With a frequency range spanning from 100kHz to 20GHz, this amplifier provides ultra wide bandwidth performance in a compact single slot PXIe format. It is designed for engineers who require reliable, high frequency signal amplification without compromising signal quality.
Delivering up to 30dBm saturated output power into 50Ω loads, the Model 3201 RF Amplifier ensures sufficient drive capability for challenging test environments. At the 1dB compression point, it provides a typical output power of +27dBm, allowing stable and predictable performance under high power conditions.
Performance Enhancement
The Model 3201 RF Amplifier was developed to extend the power capabilities of Tabor arbitrary waveform generators and RF signal generators. Many signal sources cannot deliver the power levels required to drive demanding devices under test. By integrating the Model 3201 RF Amplifier into a PXIe system, users can significantly increase available output power while maintaining signal integrity.
For applications requiring additional gain, channels can be cascaded to achieve up to 25dB gain. This flexibility allows engineers to adapt the amplifier to various testing requirements, including multi tone testing, receiver validation, and broadband RF characterization.
Protection and Integration
